ADOPTED – SADIE

Female, 1 year, 40 lbs

Say hello to our sweet SADIE girl. She is 1 year old BC/Aussie mix with a super soft, tri color, medium length coat. She is about 40lbs and has the most beautiful fluffy tail. Her marking are quite stunning! Sadie’s favorite thing is split between her person and other dogs. She will follow her foster mom around the house, but when it’s play time or the other dogs in the house get excited about something she is right there ready to go.

SADIE was a bit shy at first, and needed to learn how to be a house dog. She warmed up quickly and has been a very good house guest. She does not chew anything inappropriate and after a round of play or a walk, she settles down nicely in the house. She has shown some interest in toys and balls, but is still a little tentative and needs time to gain confidence. SADIE gets along well with other dogs, and generally leaves the cats alone. She would do fine in a house with other dogs, and dog savvy cats. She would also be OK as an only dog and would enjoy getting all the attention.

SADIE is started on basic training. Her new family will need to continue with this as well as daily exercise. She is both treat and praise motivated. Sadie sleeps quietly in her crate at night and is fine being crated for a few hours if her foster mom is away. She is a little reluctant to get in the car, but once inside she rides fine. SADIE is an overall sweet and easy going girl who needs a soft hand, a little confidence building and extra lovin’ to show her how good life can be. She is ready to find her forever home.

SADIE is micro-chipped, spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
