Female, 1 year, 30 lbs
Say hello to sweet little CINDY. She is a 1yr old, 30lb BC with a smooth coat and lovely spots on her chest and legs. CINDY loves to be with her person. She follows her foster mom around the house or yard and always wants to be close. She will sit companionably by your side and put her head in your lap. She also really loves to play with other dogs who are of a similar energy level. Check out the video of her playing with her foster sister Zoey along with her water adventure https://photos.app.goo.gl/NUUTjZQBYjSeUnRr6
CINDY is a medium to high energy girl who needs plenty of daily exercise to keep her mind engaged. She is a typical BC who likes to herd things and will sometimes nip at the heels of the dog she is playing with. She does not have a high drive, more like medium but she will herd. She needs to be in a home without cats and without dogs less than 25lbs.
CINDY rarely barks, she is fully potty trained and uses the dog door to go out when needed. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night, but would be very happy to sleep on the floor next to you if you let her. She settles down well in the house and will sit by your feet or cuddle on the couch. She likes to pull the stuffing out of toys, and loves her chew sticks or bones. She has not shown much interest in chasing a ball, but will chase the dog who has the ball. She also really loves the water and will dive right in to swim after another dog.
CINDY loads up in the car no problem and is excited to go for a ride. She loves going for walks and has OK leash manners but they will need some work as well as other basic training. She has good recall, mostly because she really wants to be with her person. She is a bit over eager when taking treats and needs to learn to slow down. She is not food or toy possessive. She has not chewed anything inappropriate, but she has dug a couple holes in the backyard and tried to bury her favorite bone or toy.
Cindy would do well in a home where her people are home most of the time and where she can be the center of attention. She is very loving, sweet and super eager to please. She would be an amazing adventure dog for anyone with an active lifestyle.
