Bella is a 7 year old border collie mix. She has been spayed and is in great health. Bella has been the most amazing companion to me over the last 6 years, but due to unforeseen life changes I am looking to find her a new home that better fits her needs.
Bella is a very high energy and active dog, even despite her age. She loves playing ball, going on walks, or to the park. She is a pretty independent dog overall, but will be happy to be included in anything outdoors. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is very smart and knows commands such as sit, lay down, speak, spin.
Some things to consider- Bella struggles with car anxiety and she does have a history of snapping at other dogs. She has never caused any serious harm to another dog but she has broken skin. On the flip side, she also lived in a home with a mini aussiedoodle for 3 years with no issues. I have found that most issues arise from dogs her own size, or bigger. Bella would do best in a home without any small children, as she can get overstimulated pretty easily. She has never bit a person but she also hasn’t been exposed to children often at all.
