Meet Opal!

Opal is a 5-year-old female Border Collie with a gentle soul and a calm, loving personality. She weighs approximately 40 lbs, is microchipped, and is spayed.

Opal is a sweet and slightly shy girl who thrives in a peaceful and patient home. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels safe, she becomes deeply trusting and affectionate in her own quiet way.

She enjoys daily walks and absolutely loves exploring the world through sniffing everything around her. Although she has a playful side outdoors, she is generally relaxed and low-key at home. She is comfortable spending time independently and does not show destructive or anxious behaviors.

Opal would do best in a calm environment with someone who appreciates a gentle companion rather than a highly energetic working dog. Due to mild cataracts, her activity level is lower than a typical Border Collie, making her a wonderful fit for someone looking for a mellow and loyal best friend.

She is well-behaved, non-aggressive, and has been a deeply loved companion. We are committed to finding her a responsible and caring forever home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and understood.
