Male, 2 Years
Meet the newest gem, a black and white border collie named RYDER. Ryder is the sweetest little man you have met in a long time. He has a perfect split face to go with his personality. RYDER can be a bit timid and shy when he first meets you, especially men, but that goes away quickly. RYDER is a male rough coat approximately 2 years old and about 45 lbs with a personality that lights up a room. RYDER and his foster brothers and sister roughhouse, play and chase each other all day. Then while he rests for the next go round of playing, RYDER will curl up on your lap becoming a Border collie lap dog. Its apparent RYDER had a bit of a tough life his first couple of years so he is ready to put the past behind him and become someone’s fur baby for life.
RYDER has never had an accident in the house and uses the doggie door like a pro. RYDER is not very fond of crates and can be somewhat of a picky eater. Truth be told, RYDER has become a bit spoiled already, sleeping on the furniture and given reign throughout his foster’s home. RYDER will definitely benefit from some obedience training and needs more practice walking on a leash. It’s unknown how RYDER will respond with cats or young children since his foster does not have them. RYDER would most likely do best in a home with another dog to play with. RYDER is lightning fast, still working on his fetch skills but always beats his foster pack to the ball. RYDER is ready to live his best life with a new active family. Ryder has proven in a short amount of time that he is special and has unlimited potential.
RYDER is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
