Female, 9 months, 40 lbs.
MAISEY is a darling 9-month-old, 40lb (and gaining) Border collie mix. She is sure to catch your eye with her tri-colors and her spotted nose! She has a low-maintenance smooth coat and the best floppy ears.
MAISEY is a shy but friendly girl. She very happily greets anybody that walks in the door. MAISEY adores her foster siblings and would do best in a home with other dogs to help her continue to learn how to be a dog. She tries and wants to play, but just has not quite figured out what she is supposed to do.
MAISEY has shown nothing but excellent manners thus far. She is not much of a jumper or barker and never contemplates going out the front door when opened. She has a fairly calm demeanor, loves to be outside, and walks well on a leash. MAISEY is also food-motivated and appears eager to please!
MAISEY is an occasional chewer as expected for her age but responds well to “no.” She loves toys and is easily redirected with them. She has been exposed to farms animals of all kinds, including outdoor cats and chickens, and has shown little to no interest.
MAISEY is house-trained, but yet to signal that she needs to go outside. She enjoys her crate and puts herself away with an open door and simple command. She sleeps in her crate overnight and is content inside it during down / alone time. MAISEY is also a quiet co-pilot and travels in her crate.
