COOPER AVAILABLE
COOPER is a beautiful black and white rough coated border collie, weighing in at 40 pounds and standing about 23” at the shoulder. He is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 years of age. He is a well-balanced boy with brown inquisitive and curious eyes. He is goofy, fun, energetic, sweet and very curious. Cooper loves to explore the yard on his own and mostly stays within eyesight to his humans when outside.

Meet Attie! This joyful one-year-old Border collie mix is the whole package: confident, friendly, and endlessly affectionate. Weighing about 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size to fit into just about any home or lifestyle — big enough to keep up with your day, small enough to curl up in your lap at night.

Meet LUCY, a 4-year-old love muffin! LUCY is such a sweet, friendly girl that when she was picked up by animal control, the officer had her ride in the front seat of the truck with him and while she stayed at the shelter, the shelter manager kept LUCY in the office with her. At the veterinarian’s office for each and every appointment, staff all wanted to work with LUCY. And they all came out to say good-bye when it was time for her to go home with her foster mom. She greets everyone by extending her front paw, as if to shake hands, and then she quickly moves in for a hug.

CASH is between 9-12 months, weighs 37 lbs. and is ALL heart! All he wants to do is feel safe and loved, and he will make you feel the same way right back. Cash has the most expressive eyes. You can almost tell what he is thinking and feeling just by making eye contact with him. He is very aware and loves to know what is going on all around him. He has been doing so well in foster care and has really bonded with his foster parents and border collie foster siblings. He likes to follow them everywhere and is what we like to call a “Velcro dog” dog.

DOLLY, our 2 year old, 45 pound, blue-eyed Border collie mix, is deaf but you would never know it by observing her. She lives a very normal and easy-going life. And yes, we talk to her ALL THE TIME, whether with our voices or our hands. She loves people and will attach to you like Velcro.

Say hello to THOR, who is the polar opposite of the God of Thunder! Four-year-old, 46 pound Thor is the epitome of kindness and gentleness with people and dogs alike. Our Thor is a cuddler! Even at the all-women vet practice, he felt right at home, giving kisses to all the ladies. He absolutely loves women and girls.

Meet ROJO! A darling, sweet and cuddly 5-month-old Kelpie mix puppy, ROJO is 22 pounds with a smooth beautifully marked red coat with marled ticking on his legs, along with big stand-up ears!

Meet WILLOW! A darling, sweet and cuddly 5-month-old puppy, WILLOW is 34 pounds with a smooth beautifully marked black, white and kisses of tan coat, deep and expressive eyes, and a soft pink nose. Just look at those beautiful stand-up ears!

Meet COSMO, a 5-month-old chunky-monkey, fluffernutter of 35#. Yep, he’s on the big side and his has the energy and enthusiasm to match! He bounds through life and is learning that all parts of his body need to go in the same direction. Imagine what it’s like to be the size of a full-grown herding dog with the brain of a puppy! (His nickname is Baby Huey!)

She’s quick to learn, food-motivated (especially for cheese!), and already knows commands like “sit,” “stay,” “paw,” “drop it,” , "twirl", and more. She adores people, loves other dogs, and thrives when she has a job to do. Her favorite activities include playing tug, digging, and chewing on her toys.

I am neutered, chipped, vaccinated. I am shy of 40 pounds full of energy, love, and kisses! I enjoy running around in circles as if I’m in a marathon and playing catch. I love to make friends at the park and being around others all the time. I currently live in Sacramento with a family of small children and have been around other dogs (not sure how I am around cats, but I’m always up for a new challenge). My favorite thing to do is lie in the sun, chase the squirrels that come to visit, and ask for belly rubs.

Her favorite things are giving kisses, playing ball and going for walks. Zaida loves being around and playing with other dogs and loves being the center of attention! She thoroughly enjoys belly rubs and tennis balls... ESPECIALLY enjoys tennis balls.

She is a sweet dog loves people, especially children. She knows all of her basic commands and very Food motivated. She loves chew toys, especially stuffed animals, but she likes to take the squeakers out and will shred them. She needs toys like Kong toys that are durable. Loves to play fetch and will bring back just about anything. She is a highly active dog and runs a lot. Would be best suited in a household, who is a jogger, marathon runner long distance she needs to be worn out and needs a job. In the house she is highly active and seeks attention. Not best with smaller animals such as cats, rodents, rabbits or female dogs. She did grow up with a male dog and does best with large male breeds.

In Santa Cruz - Meet Ranger, a 8 year old Border Collie male. Ranger is typical border collie who is playful and super smart. Ranger came to us after his owner passed away. He was loved but didn't get out too much. He was 1 of 4+ plus dogs and we think the dogs were left to their own devices. With this being said, Ranger can be nervous in public and is more of a homebody.
