ADOPTED ANNIE
Are you looking for a lovable sweetheart that will curl up with you on the sofa and give you kisses?? Someone who will love you unconditionally forever? Someone to be your loyal companion and won’t ever cheat on you? Well…stop looking for love in all the wrong places and look into our rescue! This is where you’ll find ANNIE!
ADOPTED RASCAL
Rascal is such a wonderful dog and the sweetest boy ever. This fun, 43 pound, 2-yr-old boy is housebroken and understands basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “come.” He is crate-trained and quite the lover boy first thing in the morning when getting out of his crate. In his foster home, he hasn’t ever eaten anything he’s not supposed to, and he is well-mannered. When he came into rescue, he was unfamiliar with a leash and car rides, so Rascal’s foster mom is slowing getting him out socially. New to walking on a leash, he has been learning to enjoy long walks and a good run. The only time Rascal barks is when he wants to play. Rascal is polite when company arrives, not even barking then.
Jasper adopted 3-1-20
It has been 6 months now since we adopted Jasper, just wanted to give you a quick update. He loves quarantine, gained weight pretty quickly and had 3 teeth extracted in June (Including a canine!)
Jasper completed his first training class last month and goes to a barn hunt every week, even finds the rats faster than our mutt Bold who has been doing it for a year now.
I am hoping to thru-hike the Tahoe Rim Trail next year with him, so we did some trial backpacking trips this summer. He is great company on the trail and loves al the time outdoors
Newton 2006 – 2020
Hi. Newt’s dad here. I have sat down to write this umpteen times, only to let myself get distracted from the reality of the circumstance. On Wednesday September 2nd just before noon, we said goodbye to our boy Newton. Newt was a staple in our rescue for six plus years. The day prior we had officially made him part of the family by adopting him, as we had discussed many times. The end came swiftly (thankfully). Enough time to give it a chance, then to accept the inevitable and ultimately give him a peaceful and dignified cross over Rainbow Bridge.
ADOPTED Willow
Say hello to WILLOW, an 8m old BC mix female. Her foster mom thinks she might be mixed with Kelpie. She has a lovely soft easy care smooth coat, the cutest little socks on her feet and a tiny white tip on her tail. WILLOW is a medium to high energy girl who loves to play but will settle down when playtime is over. She loves other dogs and gets along with cats too. She will try to play (gently) with the cats, so any cats in the home would have to be dog savvy.
