BUNGEE AVAILABLE

BUNGEE is a 2-year-old border collie with a medium-thick coat, weighing 35 pounds. He is a cute little guy with freckles, and he always has a smile. Bungee loves people and is eager to please. While he can be shy at first, he warms up quickly. During his vet clinic visits, he was very friendly and well-behaved, and he visited with everyone, and he’s been a well-behaved guest at a small local pub with an outside patio. With his smaller size and love of people, Bungee is great for evening wiggly snuggles on the couch when he is invited up. He is an exceptionally endearing boy; everyone who has met him says so!

Meet VERA, a 9-year-old, 50 pound border collie mix. Miss VERA is black and white with an easy to maintain short coat. She has ears you can’t miss from miles away, but we like to say they are the better to hear you with. This girl is as low maintenance as a dog can get and simply put an absolute dream. She loves anybody and everybody. VERA offers that border collie nudge as soon as you think you are done petting her that nobody can resist. She is eager to please, comes quickly when called, and enjoys treats as much as a pat, so any additional training should come easy for both you and her.

LOKI is 40 pounds of love and affection. He is approximately 5 years of age with a smooth, easy to maintain, black and white coat. LOKI adores people. He can think of nothing better than being loved on. In fact, he rolls over for belly rubs or stops at the door, turns around, and insists on pets before going out to do his business. He absolutely loves the attention and seeks physical contact companionship any time of day or night. We had friends over for game night, and we were very proud of how he behaved when meeting so many new people all at once.

This sweet little sea soul is an absolute darling of a girl. At 23 lbs and 6m, CORAL is out to steal your heart. Her smooth, soft white coat is highlighted with black spotted markings just emerging throughout her long body and cute ears. CORAL also has that signature border collie mark over her left eye.

You haven’t lived until you’ve met BAXTER. This boy is so friendly that he simply cannot “hold his licker.” BAXTER loves everyone: people as well as other dogs. When he first came into rescue, he learned quickly not to jump up on people (GOOD BOY). He plays with other friendly dogs, but his 1st choice is always people. If people are around, so is BAX.

Say Hello to our handsome boy Toby! He is about 1.5-years-old and weighs in at a lean 42 pounds. He embodies many of the traits that make herding breeds so special—intelligent, observant, highly trainable, and deeply connected to his people. Toby is the kind of dog who notices everything around him and is constantly processing the world through a thoughtful and sensitive lens.

Say “hello” to Ellie, a 24#, 4-month-old sweetheart. Ellie is smart, social, and loving. Her foster mom describes her as “perfect!”. Curious, confident, and independent, Ellie also loves her people. She loves doing things with her people and then having a good cuddle afterwards. She’s very cuddly!

JACK is a fluffy puffball senior border collie looking for a soft landing spot with a loving family that will pet him and love on him. We figure JACK is about 11 years of age. He is a long-haired rough coat that weighs in at about 47 pounds. He gets along with the other dogs in the house but doesn’t engage with the adult dogs when they want to play. He is mostly paired up with our 18 pound puppy Coral (also available). They love hanging out together, cuddling during down time, and traveling about the yard during play time. They really enjoy playing bookends to their foster dad, jumping up on the couch to join him for ballgames and pets (not necessarily in that order).

Meet Squid, a 26 pound, 6-month-old smooth coat sweetheart. He’s loving, smart, and he likes to please. What more could you ask for? Squid is an easy-going pup with a medium energy level. He is confident and calm in new situations, and he loves people and other dogs. Squid is such a nice guy that he easily shares his toys with his dog friends. He loves to play and run with the other dogs in his foster home, but he can also entertain himself with his favorite crinkly toys and chew bones. Heck, he’s even good with cats! When he’s done playing, he is happy to rest quietly.

Meet Willow! Willow is an approximately 5-month-old puppy weighing about 23 pounds, and she’s the perfect mix of adventurous and affectionate. With her beautiful black-and-white rough coat and bright personality, she’s sure to capture hearts wherever she goes.

This girlie loves to snuggle!

Say “hello” to Birdie, a 15#, 13-week-old border collie girlie, who is ready for her next big adventure. This little girl is up for anything. Go to the vet? Sure, she’ll chase her lotus ball around the vet’s chair until she finds the treats inside. Visit her foster mom’s workplace with elevators, stairs, a bunch of new people, and on a day when it’s pouring rain outside? Sure, no problem: by the end of the day, she was assistant to the college publicist and had a bunch of new friends. Visit big dogs? Sure: let them try to catch her! Birdie is confident, social, curious, independent, and absolutely and hilariously lovable. It goes without saying that she’s a smarty pants, too!

MAPLE is a darling little 20lb border collie mix and just shy of one year old. She was named MAPLE after her coloring but turns out it is even more fitting than that because she is also as sweet as MAPLE syrup. First and foremost, MAPLE aspires to be a lap dog and lucky for her (or you) she is small enough to be just that! She loves nothing more than cuddling up on a blanket next to somebody, but if that is not an option her next place of choice would be somewhere simply comfortable and warm.

Say hello to Fiona! She is a 1-year-old, red tri-colored, 40#, border collie mix with a lovely medium length coat. Fiona’s favorite thing is her person, followed by toys, treats, and other dogs. Fiona wants to be with her person and will follow her foster around the house and settle at her feet or nearby. She loves to play with toys and will flip them around and make her own party!

Miss Mabel is a beautiful blue and white smooth-coated border collie, weighing 28 pounds and standing about 17” at the shoulder. She is estimated to be about one year old. She is a well-balanced, muscular little girl with brown inquisitive and curious eyes. Miss Mabel is incredibility social and playful once she gets to know you in familiar surroundings. She is goofy, fun, extremely energetic, sweet, and very curious. She loves to explore the yard on her own, yet mostly stays within eyesight of her humans when outside.
