ADOPTED – DUKE
ADOPTED - DUKE is a gorgeous 53-pound, 2-year-old BC/Yellow Lab mix boy. He is incredibly athletic & loves to run full out & to jump. (He would be a great running partner or hiking buddy). Even though he likes to jump, Duke is a kind boy, & he doesn't jump up on people; when his front feet leave the ground it's only to give his person a gentle hug. He loves people & gets along beautifully with the dogs in his foster home. He lived previously in a home with 6 other dogs, & he is reported to have gotten along well with all of them, too. We don't know about cats.

ADOPTED 1/22/2022 BANDIT
ADOPTED 1/22/2022 Meet BANDIT, a small (38#), 8-year-old boy who is ready to find his forever home. Bandit was clearly neglected in his former life, but he's loving life now after a dental, grooming, & a diet, as well as the attention of his foster family who loves him dearly. Bandit likes meeting new people & exploring new places. He likes to go for rides in the car & going for walks on a leash, & while he is not trained to heel yet, he does walk nicely on a leash. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, but he loves one-on-one attention so much that his ideal home would be one in which he is the only dog. While Bandit wins the Mr. Congeniality Award with people & other dogs, he is most definitely not a cat man. He needs a home with no cats.

Adopted – Jazz
Adopted
Meet JAZZ, a 38-pound 1-2 year-old bundle of enthusiasm and joy! JAZZ is a classically marked rough coat boy with one gold eye and one blue eye. His personality is also classic – BC that is! JAZZ is on the higher energy side, but has an ‘off switch’ when nap time or bed time arrives and he settles down in his crate. A play buddy and regular exercise will make JAZZ a happy dog, as well as close contact with his humans. If you let him, JAZZ will climb into your lap! He has also started to shadow his foster dad, to stay close to his human. JAZZ gets along well with his foster packmates, travels nicely in the car, is crate-trained, and knows to go potty outside. Overall as you can see in his video, he is one sweet boy.

ADOPTED – KIND
ADOPTED - KIND is the Leader of the Pack – He wants to please, takes positively to correction so should be fun to train. Like his siblings, KIND is an active pup, and loves to cuddle. All toys & games are on his list of favorite activities. He gives warm crazy kisses and likes to be talked to directly. Loves tug toys and is super sweet with me! Mama Mercy’s pups were born around 10/1/21, & they are excited about finding their forever homes. Mama weighs about 36 pounds. We don’t know who the dad or dads are, so we are offering an educated guess on the pups’ adult sizes. Mama Mercy (last Photo) will be available for Adoption after her spay. We are not taking applications for her at this time.

ADOPTED – GORDY
Meet GORDY! This sweet boy is so excited for his new adventure. He greets everyone he meets with enthusiastic tail wags and a whole body wiggle that will melt your heart! He’s still a little on the shy side though and has a tendency to do a kind of submissive belly crawl when he encounters new situations, but he embraces every new situation and everyone he meets with a happy demeanor.

ADOPTED – ASH
ADOPTED - ASH (52 pounds of Border collie / Great Pyrenees) has been put on this earth to be petted. She gets petted when she sits, while we are walking, and when we cuddle up on the couch. When I stop she gives me that soulful look with those big brown eyes and the petting continues. Because she has such long legs I don’t even need to bend over to pet her, unless of course when she wants belly rubs. And she LOVES belly rubs! ASH lets us know when anyone is approaching the yard, comes to the door or enters the house. As she tells me, “It’s my job to protect my home and surroundings.”

ADOPTED – JESSIE
ADOPTION PENDING - JESSIE is an active, affectionate ball-chasing young lady. She loves people and people love her. She also gets along well with other dogs. She does not let her birth challenges; zero hearing and limited vision, slow her down in the least. She lives a pretty normal life, but would benefit greatly from having another dog buddy to pair up with for play time. As you can see from the video she loves to run and play hard. Her dog buddy should be able to match her activity level and enthusiasm for play and companionship, particularly when out in the yard. Inside she prefers hanging with her people or just picking a quiet spot in which to rest.

ADOPTED – MIA
ADOPTED - MIA (or "Missy") is a 5-to-6-year-old energetic, bunny-soft, joyful, sweet fluff-ball of love. She is a border collie/Aussie mix, who weighs 50 pounds, and don’t tell her, but she could still lose a couple of those pounds. She is intently human-focused, lives to play outside and inside, chase toys, go on adventures, get pets, chew bones and give cuddles. MIA is house-trained, signals when she needs to go, crates well, and travels in the car like a champ. She has a reliable recall without distractions.

ADOPTED – JAX
ADOPTED - JAX Meet JAX, a sweet 2.5 year-old male beautifully marked smooth coat black and white border collie with inquisitive brown eyes. He weighs in at a slim and slender 30 pounds. JAX is looking for a loving and caring home. He may have been under-socialized as a puppy as JAX is a dog sensitive to change and/or to environments where he feels he has no control. JAX has a high “flight” complex. He does not like loud noises and is fearful during thunderstorms. JAX is also fearful and hyper-sensitive outside after dark. He wants to trust and loves to play with other dogs, but has a high startle response. JAX is happiest when he has a consistent, dependable, and calm household, with a very solid routine. Change in his daily routine will definitely set back his attitude and training.
