Introducing our foster dog LOKI. Our vet thinks he is about 4-years-old, although you’d think he was still a pup by the way he acts.  He weighs a lean & healthy 40 lbs. & sports a gorgeous short, easy-care, minimum-shed coat.

OBSIDIAN aka SID, Born August 7, 2025 • Border Collie Mix • Male Meet Sid, the big-hearted goofball of the Gems and Treasures crew with one grey eye and one blue eye! At just eight weeks old and already 19 pounds, this boy is growing fast and promises to be a big, huggable adventurer when he’s all grown up.

JET (Gem and Treasures Litter)

JET, Born August 8, 2025 • Border Collie Mix • Male Meet Jet, the thoughtful explorer with a heart of gold. At 15 pounds, he’s a perfect blend of curious, cautious, and cuddly.

ADOPTED – VEGA

Meet beautiful, VEGA, a tall and lean 35 lb tri-colored border collie mix girlie. Vega has a low maintenance smooth coat, and ears that are bound to hear everything. Estimated to be 2-years-old, VEGA has outgrown the puppy stage and is simply seeking someone of her own.

ADOPTED – DUKE

DUKE is a happy, delightful, and active boy about 1 year of age and 41 lbs. He has a soft black & white smooth coat with just a hint of tri-color highlighting in a couple spots. He loves being with his people. DUKE also gets along well with his foster dog siblings, both male and female alike.

JO-JO ADOPTED

Say “hello” to Jo-Jo, a 37-pound, 1-year-old sprite, who is ready to leap and bound into her new home.  Jo-Jo is an affectionate, sometimes silly, super smart girlie, who loves to do whatever her person asks her to do, but who can also entertain herself.  This little girl has it all!

Meet little Miss MIYA! She is a 35lb, 3yr-old, female border collie. She has a lovely, soft, medium length, easy care coat and a sweet and sunny disposition. MIYA loves everyone she meets, people and dogs alike. She greets everyone with a wag and a smile.

Meet JUNIPER – The Thoughtful Companion. Looking for your soul pup? Juniper might just be the one. JUNIPER is a 24lb, 17-week-old BC mix. This intelligent, slightly reserved beauty has a wise, observant way about her. When the other dogs are running in circles, Juniper chooses efficiency—meeting them halfway with a knowing look. She’s deeply loyal and affectionate, has an old soul energy wrapped in a young pup’s body. She is full of sass and smarts.

Say hello to LADYBUG – The Frolicking Free Spirit! Ladybug is a 21lb, 17-week-old BC mix who really lives up to her name - charming, curious, and always ready for a new adventure. This fun-loving girl is built for frolicking in the grass, chasing butterflies (or her tail), and making you laugh with her playful energy. Her favorite thing to do is play with her dog friends, followed by playing with her humans.

ADOPTION PENDING Say hello to MORGAN, an 8-month-old, 15 lb. border collie mix. He is a true pocket- sized rocket with both brains and speed in a compact and adorable package. He is a sweet, fun, goofy, and incredibly bright boy who is looking for a family that can keep up with his active mind and body. When he's happy, he'll show you with joyful zoomies around the yard, a sight that is guaranteed to make you smile.

ADOPTED – COOPER

COOPER is a beautiful black and white rough coated border collie, weighing in at 40 pounds and standing about 23” at the shoulder. He is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 years of age. He is a well-balanced boy with brown inquisitive and curious eyes.  He is goofy, fun, energetic, sweet and very curious.  Cooper loves to explore the yard on his own and mostly stays within eyesight to his humans when outside.

Meet Attie! This joyful one-year-old Border collie mix is the whole package: confident, friendly, and endlessly affectionate. Weighing about 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size to fit into just about any home or lifestyle — big enough to keep up with your day, small enough to curl up in your lap at night.

**Adoption Pending** Meet LUCY, a 4-year-old love muffin!  LUCY is such a sweet, friendly girl that when she was picked up by animal control, the officer had her ride in the front seat of the truck with him and while she stayed at the shelter, the shelter manager kept LUCY in the office with her.  At the veterinarian’s office for each and every appointment, staff all wanted to work with LUCY.  And they all came out to say good-bye when it was time for her to go home with her foster mom.  She greets everyone by extending her front paw, as if to shake hands, and then she quickly moves in for a hug.

He loves games and play, and would love a home with lots of time for exercise.

We adopted her from the rescues when she was about 4 months old. She is healthy, fixed, fully vaccinated and chipped. She is playful and very affectionate. Unfortunately, we have to rehome her because she has been aggressive towards my two other senior dogs. From the time we adopted her until now, she has only shown aggression with dogs. (She has never been around cats) She loves playing with other dogs but after a while, she might become aggressive if they are too rough with her or if toy/food is involved. She has no issues when I take away her food. She is also crate trained and can sleep in her crate all night. Chloe will need to be in a home with no other pets!!

He loves to be pet and curl up in bed. He’s got lots of energy and drive. Has shown interest in herding but not something I have done any training on. Has a good recall and he enjoys learning but he is smart and does test boundaries.

She is up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed, microchipped, and is 4 and a half years old and 43 pounds. I love this dog with my whole heart, but am now managing a disability and feel she may have a better life with a household that can give her a more exercise-intensive lifestyle. She would thrive with several hours of exercise daily (or other activities such as nosework) in a securely fenced area.

I am neutered, chipped, vaccinated. I am shy of 40 pounds full of energy, love, and kisses! I enjoy running around in circles as if I’m in a marathon and playing catch. I love to make friends at the park and being around others all the time. I currently live in Sacramento with a family of small children and have been around other dogs (not sure how I am around cats, but I’m always up for a new challenge). My favorite thing to do is lie in the sun, chase the squirrels that come to visit, and ask for belly rubs.
