ADOPTED – GIDGET
They don’t come any cuter than our sweet little GIDGET! She is about 1 year of age and very much energetic and puppy-like. Weighing about 20 pounds, GIDGET is a rather petite border collie mix and just right at her current weight. Her beautiful golden eyes are always alert, and she is ready for anything you can dish out to her.

ADOPTED COCO
Meet our sweet little COCO! She is a 32lb, 1yr old BC mix. She has an easy care smooth coat and darling little spots on her nose and feet. She is such a great size. She may put on a few pounds and fill out some, but she will always be on the smaller side. COCO loves other dogs! She just wants to play, play, play. She would do well with another young dog who also likes to wrestle and chase. Older dogs may be annoyed by her exuberance and desire to play. She will chase the cats in her foster home, so she needs a cat free environment. She is very food and praise motivated and is a fast learner. She is going to be a joy to train. She is very athletic, loves the water and would do well in any kind of dog sport. She would make a great hiking/running/adventure partner as well.

ADOPTED AVALON
AVALON (Male) was the smallest of the pups but is now catching up to his siblings, weighing in at 18 pounds. He has a soft short coat which is mostly black with some brownish-red highlighting and ticking around his nose and on his chest. Avalon (Av, Avy), enjoys snuggling, LOVES his lap time, gets along well with all his doggy friends, and seems to be ok with cats.

ADOPTED – PISMO
PISMO (Male) is 19 pounds and oh so sweet. This beautiful boy is a black and white smooth coat with ticking. He loves a good play session with his siblings but also loves a quiet cuddle. A fast learner, Pismo will love to learn new things that will make him think as well as play & exercise. He might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scent work (aka nosework). PISMO will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. He can also entertain himself with toys during down time. PISMO is willing to do whatever is asked of him and then snuggle with you afterward.

ADOPTED UNA
UNA is 12 weeks and 15 pounds with a soft black coat, classic white markings, and the most astonishing ears! Occasionally NASA calls on her to listen into deep space for them. Her coat will probably be short (not smooth) to medium in length. And her personality? “Play” is Una’s middle name. She loves to play fetch with whatever toy or ball is thrown. She also loves to play tug with her foster mom and dad, or with any or all of the big dogs in the house. Her adult dog buddies Perkins and Skittles accommodate her whenever they are together. Una has recently graduated into the big dog room, where the big dogs, in turn, join her for socialization and play.

ADOPTED – PRESLEY
PRESLEY is a very active, energetic, and inquisitive little girl with a bounding personality. She is a rough coat border collie weighing 32 pounds and standing about 22” at the shoulder. Presley is seven months old and displays many puppy tendencies. She is a black tri-colored border collie as she has copper markings over both of her brown eyes as well as copper markings on either side of her face.

ADOPTED – TRISCUIT
TRISCUIT is the smallest of the pups at 6.3 pounds, a couple of pounds smaller than all the rest, but don’t let her size fool you. This gorgeous tri-colored girlie is spunk & energy in a small container. She is very energetic & adventurous, willing to check out new things on her own. Confident & a fast learner, Triscuit will love to learn new things that will make her think as well as play & exercise. She might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scentwork (aka nosework). She will not be content to sit on the sidelines, waiting for you to have time to do things with her. She will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. Because Triscuit is both treat & toy-motivated, & wicked smart, she learns quickly, & will be so rewarding to bond with & train. She connects beautifully with people, but she can also play with toys on her own. She will be willing to do whatever you ask her to do & then snuggle with you afterward.

ADOPTED – BLUEBERRY
BLUEBERRY is an approximately 8.5 pound package of adorable with his off-center blaze & heart-shaped nose. He is energetic & can show incredible focus for whatever he’s doing, but he can also settle nicely. The word self-possessed comes to mind when thinking about this little guy. Blueberry is great with the other dogs in his foster home, & is playful with people, so he’s not yet as into toys as he is into playing with other dogs & his person. In fact, at this point his favorite toy is the flirt pole, which he has to play with his human. This boy will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. He is fast learner & is treat & people-motivated. He is also a snuggler, & wiggle-bunny. Blueberry will love to train & learn new things that will make him think as much if not more than simply playing or exercising. He might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scent work (aka nose work). Blueberry will be willing to do whatever you ask him to do & then snuggle with you afterward.

ADOPTED – RASPBERRY
RASPBERRY is a gorgeous, 7.5 pound, black & white girlie with the most endearing prick ears. You can certainly tell when she alerts to something! Her coat is a soft, medium-length that will be easy to care for. Like her sister Cheez-it, Raspberry weighs about 8 pounds & is nicely built for speed & agility. This girl loves toys of all kinds, but especially ones that squeak. She carries them around (sometimes teasing her littermates with them), & entertains herself with them until you show interest, & then she’s happiest to share them with you. Like her sisters, Raspberry will love to train & learn new things that will make her think as much if not more than simply playing or exercising. She might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scent work (aka nose work). She will not be content to sit on the sidelines, waiting for you to have time to do things with her. She will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. Because Raspberry is both treat & toy-motivated, & wicked smart, she learns quickly, & will be so rewarding to bond with & train. She will be willing to do whatever you ask her to do & then snuggle with you afterward.

ADOPTED – GUACAMOLE
GUACAMOLE is an 8 pound, classically marked border collie with a medium-length, easy-to-care for coat. He’s classically marked alright , but what the heck is that left ear going to do? Whatever it does—stands up or stays as it is—Guacamole is a good-looking dude, but one who is not too cool for mischief & fun. Adventurous, curious, confident, & with lots of energy, Guacamole can go from focused & on-the-job to goofball in the blink of an eye. He will be a blast to train, using toys & treats & through the wonderful bond he’ll form with his person, & after training or lots of play, he will love to snuggle. Because he is smart & high energy, he will need things to do to stimulate him mentally as well as physically to help him be the best boy he can be. He might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scent work (aka nose work). He will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. Guacamole will be willing to do whatever you ask him to do & then snuggle with you afterward. (He is really snuggly!) And like his sisters, he has an off switch.

ADOPTED – BEAN DIP
BEAN (DIP) is an 8 pound, mostly black rough-coated boy with the softest coat & the dearest expression. His eyes when he looks at you are the eyes of an old soul, as if he’s taking you right into his heart. Bean is playful & energetic, but not over the top, & he settles nicely. He often watches for a few moments before joining in whatever is going on. He simply likes to check things out.. Bean likes to play with people most & he’s also happy to play with toys of his own. His favorite toy is a flirt pole. He has nice focus & pays attention as if he’s taking in every word you say. And he’s a fast learner because he listens, & is treat & toy-motivated. Bean will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. And because he is thoughtful & affectionate, he will bond easily. If you’re looking for a lovely, smart border collie boy, who is not over the top, but who will be willing to do whatever you ask him to do & then snuggle with you afterward, Bean may be your new best friend.

ADOPTED – CHEEZ-IT
CHEEZ-IT is also tri-colored beauty, but is a little bit bigger than her sister at 8 pounds. Cheez-it & Triscuit are very much alike in energy level, smarts, & confidence. Cheez-it loves to adventure, but like her sister, she connects beautifully with people & love to check back in. She is playful with people & other dogs (especially the great Pyrenees in her foster home), but also loves to collect her toys & take them to her bed, marching past her sisters & brothers with a funny litter swagger. She is entertaining in the way she plays with her toys, throwing them in the air for herself & catching them, & did we mention that anything can become a toy for this girl--a knotted washrag is a particular favorite. Confident & a fast learner, like her sister Triscuit, Cheez-it will love to learn new things that will make her think as well as play & exercise. She might enjoy dog sports like agility, or canine scentwork (aka nosework). She will not be content to sit on the sidelines, waiting for you to have time to do things with her. She will want to be with you, doing things together that you will both enjoy. Because Cheez-it is both treat & toy-motivated, & wicked smart, she learns quickly, & will be so rewarding to bond with & train. She will be willing to do whatever you ask her to do & then snuggle with you afterward.

ADOPTED – MAX
Meet MAX, nicknamed “The Boss” by his foster family. MAX is a male black and white rough coat border collie that is approximately 12 weeks of age and 19 lbs. He is a take charge little guy, who is absolutely fearless. When MAX came to his foster family, he immediately exhibited no hesitation whatsoever in meeting and playing with his much larger foster siblings. MAX is a smart, typical border collie who picks up on things super-fast and seems to have a keen sense for herding. He will require an experienced border collie household that will find him jobs that are both mentally stimulating and physically challenging; for example, herding, canine nose work/scent work, or agility. Mentally and physically challenging activities, along with exercise, will help burn off excess energy and will help Max be the best version of himself. After training activities and hard play, MAX calms nicely and is a very lovable cuddle bug.

ADOPTED – KELLY
KELLY, 15 pounds and a smooth coat, is the most reserved of the group. He is like the middle child, not as intense as his sister Quinn and not as serious as his brother Patrick. Kelly is very athletic, but will settle in quickly for quiet time and belly rubs when away from his siblings. Kelly is progressing nicely with crate and sit. KELLY loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. He is too interested and overexcited when he sees felines. Arriving to our rescue on March 17th, the St. Paddy’s Day puppies range from 13 to 17 lbs. With their bat ears, slim bodies, and cat-like feet we believe them to be McNab / border collie mixes. These puppies are coming PARTIALLY SPONSORED. Their adoption fees will be $125 (plus the $75 spay / neuter deposit (that’s a $300 sponsored reduction). The six puppies were split into two foster homes, with Patrick, Quinn, and Kelly in one home while Owen, Nora, and Erin are in another.

ADOPTED – ERIN
ERIN, a classically-marked 14 pound smooth coat, is in between in size, & is most focused on her foster mom. ERIN follows her everywhere & after a long play session seeks cuddle time. She loves joining the fun with the other puppies; she simply loves her foster mom best. Erin is serious and very focused in her play. And like some of her other siblings Erin enjoys tugging with the other pups as well as with her foster mom. ERIN loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. She is too interested and overexcited when she sees felines. ADOPTED – NORA
NORA is our blue-eyed, smoot-coated beauty. At 14 pounds, she exudes confidence. This girl is also curious, adventurous, & is as happy to play on her own as she is to be involved in everyone else’s play. She is always the first one to go on adventures, but when called, she turns on a dime & runs back to her foster mom, well, most of the time. Nora figures out quickly what it takes to get what she wants. You do something with her & she says “I’ve got it” & tries to do it again to get rewarded. Her favorite games are tug & tug & tug & then go chase one of her siblings. Even though Nora is adventurous, she is also tuned in to her foster mom. NORA loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. She is too interested and overexcited when she sees felines. ADOPTED – QUINN
QUINN has that WOW look. Her one blue eye, one blue / brown eye, shiny smooth coat, and athletic build get the WOW reaction every time. QUINN is a solid 15 pound, athletic young lady. Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy, Fun, Fun, Fun. Maybe we should have named her Tigger. This happy little girl is an object in motion that stays in motion until nap time or bed time. Quinn loves to leap, climb, and explore. When she sits, her little tail and butt are going a mile a minute. QUINN loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. She is too interested and overexcited when she sees felines.
