ADOPTED – Panda
Meet little PANDA BEAR, a very sweet Border collie mix with the most adorable little bob tail. PANDA weighs a slender 35 lbs. and is only one year old. She has a soft medium length coat with black ticking on her face and feet. She has big soft brown eyes that are always looking for love. If you’re looking for a REAL cuddle bug PANDA’S your go to girl! She probably holds the title of the most affectionate dog we have ever fostered (and there have been A LOT)! At one year old PANDA is very much a puppy with all the energy and playfulness that’s typical of a Border collie pup.
Adopted – MARLOWE
MARLOWE is a sweet, active puppy who loves playing tug and fetch with his favorite lamb toy. After he gets to run around, he’ll come sit in your lap for cuddles. He is currently fostered with an older, female Border collie, and he gets along well with her, chasing her around the house and sharing toys. MARLOWE is a curious puppy who loves being with people; he particularly enjoys “helping” to unload the dishwasher.
ADOPTED – IKEY
IKEY is a smart, even tempered little guy who loves to hang with people, other dogs and even wants to play with the kitties. He has a strong desire to be with his people. He enjoys a good round of tug, whether with the foster mom or the other dogs. He loves all toys but those that squeak are especially fun. IKEY is approximately four months and 15 pounds, with a medium silky wavy coat.
Adopted WILLIE
WILLIE = FUN! Our four month, 18 pound boy puts fun into everything he does. Whether it’s playing, romping, eating or cuddling he enjoys it to the hilt. He was even good at bath time and did crazy zoomies all over the house when set free. He does enjoy water; the dirtier the better! Lest we not forget belly rubs which he L-O-V-E-S!
ADOPTED SLOOPY
SLOOPY is a smooth coat female tri color Border collie mix who weighs in at about 35 lbs. She is a gentle soul who loves people and other dogs. She is on the submissive side, earning the nicknames “Flip-Flop” and “Roll Over Beethoven” due to her penchant for rolling on her back at every opportunity. Building her confidence is something we are working on. She has been an awesome guest.
ADOPTED DOLLY
My name is DOLLY. I’m a single, “sweet as can be” female and 16-months-old. A lady never tells her weight, but I’m 40-something pounds. Let’s keep that between us. My friends say, “I’m a wild and crazy gal” because I’m always excited to play and often the life of the party. I also love playing in water. I was able to check out a shallow pond recently and had a blast playing and splashing around. Not sure I want to swim, but maybe…but the water wasn’t deep enough to try.
Adopted Blu
SPECIAL NEEDS DOG – PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING Meet BLU, a sweet ~2-year-old boy looking for a loving home. BLU is a beautifully marked medium coat Border Collie mix, weighing in at 38 pounds. BLU may have been under-socialized as a puppy as he is a dog sensitive to change and/or to environments where he feels he has no control. He wants to trust and loves to play with other dogs, but has a high startle response. He is happiest when he has a dog buddy, a calm household, and a solid routine.
ADOPTED ATTICUS
ATTICUS is a 5-month-old, approximately 20-pound pup. He is an athletic boy with boundless energy, who enjoys long hikes, learning tricks & new behaviors like sit, down, leave it, off, & wait. Right now, his favorite thing is playing with wild abandon, & he plays hard. Finding things to occupy this boy & working with him to find his off switch are his biggest challenges.
Adopted – Reed
A big hello to our handsome boy REED! Our 2 year old energetic young male Border Collie mix is a sweet ❤ heart who loves to have fun with the other Border Collies at his foster home. He and two other 2 year olds spend a lot of quality time wrestling, chasing and playing tug with the abundant stuffed toys in and about the house and garden.
Adopted – Treef
Meet TREEF, a sweet 1 year old boy of 52 pounds with a beautiful rough coat and classic black & white markings.
ADOPTED – BANJO
To quote his foster mom, BANJO is JOYOUS! He is a fun loving & very active Border collie just over one year of age and about 44 lbs. He has a beautiful smooth tri-color coat. BANJO will run and play the day away but does settle nicely when inside, often found on a dog bed or in his crate, door opened. He and IGGY (also available) love chasing each other all over the yard. Be it agility, Treibball, hiking, or something else he will need a lot of exercise and activity. He makes great eye contact and is always checking back for validation.
ADOPTED IGGY
IGGY is a friendly, medium rough coat just over two years of age and about 40 lbs. IGGY came to us a bit on the thin side but has put on a couple pounds thanks to three meals a day. He could stand to gain another 5 – 6 pounds. IGGY loves to run around with buddies Sissy and Banjo but longs to be loved on and petted. He has shown interest in chewing toys and bones, and also has begun chasing (but not bringing back) a tennis ball. IGGY is looking for an active family that will include IGGY in all the fun.
ADOPTED LOGAN
LOGAN is a 2 year old neutered male tri colored border collie. This handsome boy came into rescue somewhat shy and has been warming up to his foster mom and dad and clearly enjoys his 5 bc foster brothers and sisters. He plays endless games of chase and wrestle with our younger dogs, shows a bit too much interest in the resident cat Pucklechurch, however he is easily called off and understands that cats are to be respected! He's enjoying playing with dog toys but you'll need to keep an eye on socks and shoes as he rather likes to steal them and do a bit of chewing.
ADOPTED – BLUE
Meet our handsome boy BLUE! He is a 1 yr old smooth coat with beautiful blue-ish gray markings on his head and a soft coat. He is 48lbs and has a long lanky stride. BLUE's favorite things are to play with other dogs, play in the water or to lay quietly by your side. He gets along well with cats and pays them no mind. BLUE really loves the water and will run and play like a puppy.
Adopted – Teddy
Meet TEDDY, a sweet 1 ½ year old boy of 45 pounds with a beautiful rough coat and classic black & white markings.
TEDDY is very social with people. He loves hugs, pets, giving kisses, and hanging near his people. TEDDY gets along well with his foster BC pack mates and shows high drive behavior. This includes play nipping, vocalizing when excited, and experiencing some anxiety with change (e.g. not with his human/dog pack, transitioning to a new home, etc.). His foster family has been using positive reinforcement, watching him improve every day.
ADOPTED – ETHEL
Introducing affectionate and gorgeous ETHEL, an approximately two-year-old red-tri smooth coat female. She is 18+ inches at the shoulders and weighs about 37 pounds. ETHEL has perfect recall either by whistle or calling her name. She is healthy and has been well-cared for. She does not wander off and prefers to stick close to her people and foster sisters. She rarely barks, and only does if she needs to catch your attention (“Please let me in!”). ETHEL is a playful and funny dog that lives for a good time.
Adopted – Sir Lawrence
SIR LAWRENCE, AKA Larry, AKA Big Red, is a 61 pound bundle of love. His deep red color with tiny bits of white makes him as handsome as he is polite. He is the distinguished gentleman of the group, approximately 8 years of age. He loves people, gets along well with his foster brother and sister and completely ignores our cat Leia. He will however chase outdoor cats if they run. Larry loves cuddling on the couch, being petted (his whole body squirms with joy) & doesn’t even mind baths because he thinks he’s getting petted!
Adopted – ACE
ACE is a loving, playful male tri-color smooth coat who weighs in at a whopping 30 lbs. He uses his slight frame to full advantage, quickly learning to slip through the posts of our gate leading to the back deck. ACE also holds his own playing with our foster Lawrence* (the red prominent in the pictures and video), who is double ACE’s weight. They spend a good part of their day wrestling and chasing each other around. ACE also gets along well with our girl Sissy and largely ignores the cat. *Note – Lawrence will be posted later this week.
ADOPTED Sadie
WOOF! A big hello from our lovely SADIE. She is a 4 year old, 40 lb. black and white rough coat female Border Collie. SADIE came to us a bit shy and quiet, she observed the other 5 Border Collies in in her foster home and worked at fitting in. Within a few days she was running with the other females and chasing the males....much to our amusement! She had found her place!
