MARSHA is a soft and cuddly black and white short to medium coat border collie mix. At 9 weeks and 9 pounds, Marsha wants mostly to be with her people. She is the most reserved of the bunch, choosing to let her sisters go first when checking out something new, but then joining full force once she is confident it looks fun. She enjoys the company of her sisters, but when they are free she seeks out her human companions. Marsha loves to be held and cuddled.

CINDY is a happy-go-lucky black and white smooth coat border collie mix. At 9 weeks and 9 pounds, this little cutie is especially agile and athletic. Scoop her up and CINDY will give you kisses and snuggle up, but she won’t stay there long. She wants to go, go, go.  We believe CINDY will be a very active pup who will need both physical and mental stimulation like agility or nosework to be the best family member she can be.

ODIE is a tender-hearted, mild-mannered boy. Very sweet and affectionate, approximately 4-year-old, 40 pound Odie wants to be with his people. He takes a few minutes to warm up to people he doesn’t know, but he does warm up.  He loves to go on hikes along hills and adventures to the lake with the dog pals he’s made in his foster home. He prefers an open, peaceful setting, one where he can walk and explore, take quiet nature hikes, and sniff all the wonderful smells along his path without the disruptions of lots of cars, unfamiliar people, dogs he doesn’t know, and loud city noises.  ODIE would prefer a quiet rural setting to a busy, noisy urban / suburban setting. 

TROOPER is a rough-coated border collie / Australian shepherd cross, weighing in at 55 pounds and standing about 26 inches at the shoulder.  He is about a year old. Trooper is a well-balanced boy with brown inquisitive and curious eyes.  He has a true black and white coat and freckles on his nose.

TROOPER is very energetic and curious.  He loves to explore the yard on his own, and mostly stays within eyesight to his humans when outside. Trooper checks in with you about every two minutes.  Trooper is playful, bouncy, and has a puppy attitude.  He will run and play, then stop and look at you.  If he hears no command, Trooper will continue to run and play on his own.  In his foster home, he is never idle.  Rather, he is always active and investigating his surroundings.  His only down time is when he is relaxing in his extra-large crate.

MAMA CASSIE’S (AKA CASSIOPEIA) Stars & Planets pups were born on 12/02/22, & at 9-weeks-old they are ready, ready, ready to find their forever homes.  Mama Cassie is a 32#, black & white, rough-coated girl with a bobbed tail.  She loves people, & her puppies have inherited her friendliness.

KUMA is a crack-up, full of puppy antics.  She loves toys, especially tug toys, & she’s a good tugger.  When she has a toy on her own, she finds a lair-like spot to hide her toy.  When she goes back to get it, she likes to play keep-away with her littermates.  But she’s happy to bring her toy to her person so they can play together.  She is treat-motivated & she has very nice focus.  She virtually posed for the camera, as if she knew her photo was being taken.  She knows how to work a room.  She isn’t afraid to explore, but she’s good about checking in, if you catch her attention.

STARBRIGHT has the most gorgeous & unusual tri-colored markings.  She has confidence in spades, & she’s a bit more independent that some of her littermates.  She loved the photographer who visited her foster home to take photos; STARBRIGHT was crawling all over her so much that it was hard to get her photos.  When there is a puppy play pile, she is often the puppy on top.  Like Loki, she keenly follows people.  She loves toys like tug toys & tunnels, & (see the photo) racing the tortoise across the yard.
