ADOPTED – NORA
NORA is our blue-eyed, smoot-coated beauty. At 14 pounds, she exudes confidence. This girl is also curious, adventurous, & is as happy to play on her own as she is to be involved in everyone else’s play. She is always the first one to go on adventures, but when called, she turns on a dime & runs back to her foster mom, well, most of the time. Nora figures out quickly what it takes to get what she wants. You do something with her & she says “I’ve got it” & tries to do it again to get rewarded. Her favorite games are tug & tug & tug & then go chase one of her siblings. Even though Nora is adventurous, she is also tuned in to her foster mom. NORA loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. She is too interested and overexcited when she sees felines. Arriving to our rescue on March 17th, the St. Paddy’s Day puppies range from 13 to 17 lbs. With their bat ears, slim bodies, and cat-like feet we believe them to be McNab / border collie mixes. These puppies are coming PARTIALLY SPONSORED. Their adoption fees will be $125 (plus the $75 spay / neuter deposit (that’s a $300 sponsored reduction). The six puppies were split into two foster homes, with Patrick, Quinn, and Kelly in one home while Owen, Nora, and Erin are in another.
ADOPTED – QUINN
QUINN has that WOW look. Her one blue eye, one blue / brown eye, shiny smooth coat, and athletic build get the WOW reaction every time. QUINN is a solid 15 pound, athletic young lady. Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy, Fun, Fun, Fun. Maybe we should have named her Tigger. This happy little girl is an object in motion that stays in motion until nap time or bed time. Quinn loves to leap, climb, and explore. When she sits, her little tail and butt are going a mile a minute. QUINN loves people, gets along great with other puppies and adult dogs, but will need a cat-free environment. She is too interested and overexcited when she sees felines. ADOPTED – MARSHA
MARSHA is a soft and cuddly black and white short to medium coat border collie mix. At 9 weeks and 9 pounds, Marsha wants mostly to be with her people. She is the most reserved of the bunch, choosing to let her sisters go first when checking out something new, but then joining full force once she is confident it looks fun. She enjoys the company of her sisters, but when they are free she seeks out her human companions. Marsha loves to be held and cuddled.
ADOPTED – JAN
JAN is a soft and cuddly black and white puff ball rough coat border collie mix who loves pets and belly rubs. At 9 weeks and 9 pounds, this beauty is the quietest of the group, but don’t let that calm demeanor fool you. She knows what’s going on at all times. She will assert herself when the notion strikes to keep her sisters in line. Her favorite place: whichever lap or shoulder will have her. Scoop her up and JAN will give you kisses and snuggle up.

We believe CINDY will be a very active pup who will need both physical and mental stimulation like agility or nosework to be the best family member she can be.
ADOPTED – MILLIE
MILLIE is a roughly 30lb, two year old ball of joy! She is speckled red and white with a curly tail and one eye that makes her even more special. All MILLIE wants in life is to be near her person. She thinks she’s a lap dog and enjoys climbing up onto the couch quite literally one paw at a time. When she can’t be in your lap or on the couch, she settles nicely for the floor. MILLIE does tend to jump on people out of excitement, but is responding well to “no.”

SKITTLES was a great mom to her 10, yes 10, awesome Sweets and Treats puppies, and now she is ready for her forever home. Once her babies were adopted SKIT really began to shine. She has come a long way from the pancaking, pregnant, and shy gal to the protective, correcting mom, to a friendly, outgoing gal we foster parents love. She gets along well with people and other dogs. She’s been fine around the cats, but with her husky bloodlines we’d still caution against a home with cats. SKITTLES is about 2 years of age, 52 lbs., with a thick medium coat.

ADOPTED – ODIE
ODIE is a tender-hearted, mild-mannered boy. Very sweet and affectionate, approximately 4-year-old, 40 pound Odie wants to be with his people. He takes a few minutes to warm up to people he doesn’t know, but he does warm up. He loves to go on hikes along hills and adventures to the lake with the dog pals he’s made in his foster home. He prefers an open, peaceful setting, one where he can walk and explore, take quiet nature hikes, and sniff all the wonderful smells along his path without the disruptions of lots of cars, unfamiliar people, dogs he doesn’t know, and loud city noises. ODIE would prefer a quiet rural setting to a busy, noisy urban / suburban setting.

He has big brown eyes, soft ears and a tail that wags endlessly.. He is a a very smart, happy, loving pup looking for his forever home. He loves everybody!!! He loves walks, playing with his toys and did I say treats? He is very food and praise motivated. “Good boy” and a chest scratch are a close second to a little treat. He is a puppy, behaves likes a puppy, eager to please, but still wants to jump and play, you know, those normal puppy things. He is a quick learner. Knows “sit”, “shake” or “paws” most of the time. Loves walks!! Is easily distracted by all the sites, ie dogs, people. He wants to say "hello" to everyone. Seems more interested in the person than the dog. She is treat-motivated & she has very nice focus. She virtually posed for the camera, as if she knew her photo was being taken. She knows how to work a room.
